Shop at any approved retailer, and the Fresh Connect card works just like any other prepaid card, except it only pays for fresh fruits and vegetables in a given transaction. Ring up all foods in your basket and then swipe the Fresh Connect card first to pay for fresh produce. No PIN required. You will be responsible to cover the remaining balance with a separate form of payment.
If you are using a WIC card in your transaction, you must swipe WIC first, followed by FC for the transaction to process properly.
If you are having issues using EBT and Fresh Connect in the same transaction, we recommend sorting your basket into produce / non-produce, and then running two separate transactions.

The organization that enrolled you into Fresh Connect uses a variety of factors to determine your card load amount. Yes! Use your card as many times in a month as you want – you don’t need to spend all of your balance on one shopping trip.
If you need to check your balance, call (866) 207-9702. After selecting your preferred language, press 1 and follow the instructions.
If you don’t spend all your money in a month, the balance will not rollover. Your card balance will reload to its starting balance on the first of the month.
If you lost your card or need a replacement, call (866) 207-9702. After selecting your preferred language, press 2 to report your card as lost or stolen. Confirm your identity and mailing address with the call center agent and request a replacement card. Your new card will be mailed to your address and should arrive in 7-10 business days.
Unfortunately, there is no public application to receive the Fresh Connect card. Enrollment is managed by our healthcare partners.
The PIN for your Fresh Connect card is optional. If you would like to hear your PIN or change it, call (866) 207-9702. After selecting your preferred language, press 1 and follow the instructions.
If you have more than one person in your household enrolled in Fresh Connect, you should receive a single card that includes funds for everyone. Balances for each member of a household on a single card vary per healthcare provider.
