You can only use your Fresh Connect card at participating retailers. Insert your zip code in the map above to find participating retailers near you. Some big retailers that accept Fresh Connect cards are Albertsons, Fred Meyer, Harris Teeter, Kroger, Safeway, Shaws, Star Market, and Walmart Supercenters.
For the best in-store experience, download the free Fresh Connect Companion app on your phone or tablet. You can scan barcodes of items in the store and find out if they are covered by your card, before getting to the register. This is the most sure way to shop! The app is available on Apple Store and on Google Play.

Produce
You can purchase fresh, whole or pre-cut produce (fruits and vegetables) with your Produce card. This includes organic options. Frozen, canned, and dried items are NOT eligible.
Produce+
You can purchase fresh, canned, and frozen produce (fruits and vegetables), beans, and legumes with your Produce+ card. This includes organic options. Must NOT have any additives.
Grocery Rx
You can purchase select nutritious food items throughout the grocery store with your Grocery Rx card, which can support your healthcare goals. Eligible items include fresh, canned, and frozen fruits and vegetables, whole grains, poultry, seafood, eggs, nuts, dairy and plant-based alternatives – all lower in sugar, sodium, and saturated fat.
Grocery
You can purchase select nutritious food items throughout the grocery store with your Grocery Card. The organization that enrolled you into Fresh Connect uses a variety of factors to determine your card load amount. To find out how much is loaded on your card each month, please call us at (866) 207-9702. After selecting your preferred language, press 3 to talk directly with the Fresh Connect team.

Your card will reload on the first day of every month.
Shop at any approved retailer, and the Fresh Connect card works just like any other prepaid card, except it only pays for approved items in a given transaction. Ring up all foods in your basket and then swipe the Fresh Connect card first to pay. No PIN required. You will be responsible to cover the remaining balance: with a separate form of payment.
If you are using a WIC card in your transaction, you must swipe WIC first, followed by FC for the transaction to process properly.
If you are having issues using EBT and Fresh Connect in the same transaction, we recommend sorting your basket into approved and non-approved items, and then running two separate transactions.
The PIN for your Fresh Connect card is optional. If you would like to hear your PIN or change it, call (866) 207-9702. After selecting your preferred language, press 1 and follow the instructions.
If you don't spend all your money in a month, the balance will not rollover. Your card balance will reload to its starting balance on the first of the month.
Yes! Use your card as many times in a month as you want – you don't need to spend all of your balance on one shopping trip.
If you need to check your balance, call (866) 207-9702. After selecting your preferred language, press 1 and follow the instructions.
If you lost your card or need a replacement, call (866) 207-9702. After selecting your preferred language, press 3 to speak to the Fresh Connect team directly and order a replacement card. If Fresh Connect is closed, call (866) 207-9702, and after selecting your preferred language, press 2 to report your card as lost or stolen. The call center agent will confirm your identity and order a replacement card. Your new card will be mailed to your address and should arrive in 7-10 business days.
Funds available on your card are available so long as you remain actively enrolled in the Fresh Connect healthy foods program. When you are no longer enrolled in this program, you will not have access to funds regardless of the expiration date shown on your card.
No. At this time, Fresh Connect cards are not accepted online and cannot be used for online pickup or delivery orders.
